Romulus Studio

About

Romulus Studio is the design and development practice of Benjamin Fallon—based in Glasgow, working internationally. The practice lives mostly in the art and cultural sector, a natural fit given Benjamin’s own deep roots there. Publishing runs through the work too, and the web is treated as another space to experiment with it— building sites that hold and distribute content, not just present it. Every project is led by Benjamin personally, working in close collaboration with the client throughout.

Benjamin brings twenty-plus years of craft to the table: fluent in HTML, CSS, JS, WordPress, and React, and equally at home in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, and Fontlab, underpinned by a solid grounding in typography. The approach is pragmatic rather than dogmatic — find the right tool for the job, and keep learning as you go.

Alongside the studio, Benjamin runs Broadside, an artist-run exhibition space and studio complex — every project through the studio helps fund its programme of shows and events.
